After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime in this hard-hitting action series. Reinventing the DC Comics character for a modern-day audience, the Arrow is not a superhero… but a hero — every bit as dangerous as the criminals he’s hunting.

Review: Season 1 of Arrow was, and continues to be, a breath of fresh air, and its gripping Oliver Queen origin story is one of the best small screen narratives of its kind. Arrow single handedly revolutionized the superhero TV show and span out a multitude of other shows that became the Arrowverse. Although it dips in season 4, the show shakes off the faux-pas and regains its footing, however, nothing compares to its first 3 seasons. In its final season, even with the sci-fi twist applied, Arrow is still the Arrow you’ve come to know and love after all these years, which proved to be a fitting end to an incredible journey.
Verdict: Worth the Popcorn
